This hotel features spacious, newly decorated rooms with comfy beds and large bathrooms, including a nice bath, and the staff is exceptionally friendly, plus breakfast is good and included.

Our twin room was equipped with central heating, coffee/tea making equipment, and a TV. Some of the staff members were really helpful and super-friendly. Its location was stunning and fantastic, really close to the old town of Bourtange, and the Fort.

This hotel has a surprisingly remote location in the charming old town, which we didn't expect. the rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a comfy bed and a lovely bath. the staff here is friendly and very helpful. 😊.

We had a fantastic time staying in this charming little town! the location was perfect, right in the center of the old town, allowing us to easily explore the recreated fort of Bourtange. Our room was comfortable with a good bed and basic amenities. the breakfast in the nearby building was delicious, and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional. the lady serving us breakfast even gave us great recommendations for places to visit. We were pleasantly surprised by the magical atmosphere of the old town, which we did not expect.
That the room could have been cleaner, with dusty lamp covers and a loose towel rack in the bathroom.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, and our room was spacious and well-appointed. The location inside the fortress was picturesque and peaceful, and the staff were welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast option could have included more variety than just bread.

A hidden gem for a peaceful stay. The room was immaculate and spacious, with a charming touch of history. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet. I was pleasantly surprised by the captivating fortress surroundings. highly recommend this hotel.
